We’re scheduling the Assembly Kit, Steam Workshop support, and the Mod Manager for an upcoming release. The game released today with only the first stage of the modding functionality we intend to offer with WARHAMMER III, as the game can run modded pack-files. We can’t wait to see how they continue to make their mark now that Total War: WARHAMMER III has officially released. Our modding community are a critical part of the Total War formula their efforts are fundamental to expanding the potential of our games and providing countless new ways for players to experience them. You can also join the official Total War Discord server, which has voice channels to support your chat with other players: In the interim, we recommend you use one of the many free, high-quality chat clients available to communicate with your friends: such as Discord or Microsoft Teams. Rather, we are working to implement a more robust in-game chat option which offers a safe place for online interactions with other players. A WORD ON IN-GAME CHAT Unlike previous Total War titles, WARHAMMER III will not initially ship with chat functionality. Change your Windows Display language to one of the supported languages (above), launch the game, and then set your in-game language manually to save it. ![]() While the team works on a fix, you can work around the problem in one of two ways: ✔ Solution 1: Create a script file to redefine how the CPU runs the game, as follows: ![]() ISSUE 3: SOME PCS RUNNING WINDOWS 10 WITH INTEL 12TH GENERATION CPUS (‘ALDERLAKE’ FAMILY) MAY ENCOUNTER INCONSISTENT FRAMERATES AND/OR STUTTERING. ✔ Solution: Use the new ‘land’ button to land the flying monster near its intended target, then issue the attack order from there. ISSUE 2: IN BATTLE, FLYING MONSTERS ORDERED TO ATTACK MONSTROUS GROUND ENEMIES MAY STRUGGLE TO LAND AND EFFECTIVELY ENGAGE THEIR TARGET. ✔ Solution: Set your game to run in windowed mode by enabling the ‘Run in Window’ option in the graphics settings panel, or avoid ALT Tabbing while the game is open. ISSUE 1: IN RARE CASES, THE GAME CAN BECOME UNSTABLE AND CRASH WHEN ALT TABBING BETWEEN ACTIVE WINDOWS WHILE RUNNING IN FULL-SCREEN MODE. ![]() We're already working on more permanent solutions to these issues for a future update-along with additional changes already planned for the game.
